Vale Tudo’s remake, on display on the nine track of Globo, will get a new element of tension with the arrival of Sumara, a character without a revealed interpreter. The plot, adapted by Manuela Dias and directed by Paulo Silvestrini, celebrates the 60th anniversary of the station and brings the reinterpretation of remarkable moments of the original version of 1988.

The introduction of Sumara will take place in the place where Odete Roitman, who lived by Debora Bloch, will keep his greatest secret secret: Leonardo, son that everyone believes he has died for 13 years. Unlike the modest image, the new character will be posture and direct connection with Ana Clara (Samantha Jones), Leonardo’s caregiver.

The presence of Sumara will be decisive to formalize the marriage between Ana Clara and Leonardo. The marriage, far from being an innocent romantic gesture, will be used as a blackmail against Odete. After discovering Ana Clara’s connection with Heleninha (Patolla Oliveira) at the anonymous meeting of Alcoholics, the business woman will be furious and will decide to face the young woman in the shack. It will be at this moment that he will listen to the direct provocation of the new “daughter -law”.

“It turns out that your family is also my family. I married Leonardo, a little one”, Ana Clara will say. However, he will strengthen his intention to hit the villain. “My husband is entitled to a third of everything, he gives Odete. I have the wedding certificate.”

These scenes are broadcast on Thursday (28 August), promising to further intensify the clash between the characters. Sumara’s participation will be short but fundamental to proceed with Ana Clara’s plan and make room for new conflicts.

The remake Vale maintains all the critical essence of the original version, but introduces unpublished characters and complementary plots to update the plot. Therefore, the arrival of Sumara strengthens the proposal to create twists and turns that expand the drama and family tension around Odete Roitman.
