In the early hours of Sunday (17), a restaurant in Brooklyn, New York, was the scene of a shooting that caused the death of three people and left eight other wounds. The attack scene was identified as “Taste of the City Lounge”, located in Franklin Street, according to the information confirmed by the police.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) reported that the emergency call took place around 3:30 (4:30 in the morning in Brasilia). When the agents arrived, they found several victims of shots scattered throughout the plant.
Details of the victims
The authorities confirmed that the three people killed were men. Two of them were 27 and 35 years old, while the age of the third was not disclosed. Among the injured, there are men and women aged between 27 and 61 years.
All survivors have been brought to nearby hospitals and are monitored. According to commissioner Jessica Tisch, the lesions do not have an immediate risk of death, although the severity of each case has not been detailed.
Investigation in progress
The New York police believed that the attack has involved multiple shooters and that more than a weapon has been used. At least 36 bullet cartridges and a firearm at least 36 were collected.
The images of the security cameras are analyzed to identify the managers. So far, nobody has been arrested and the motivation of crime remains unknown.

Commissioner Jessica Tisch ranked the attack as a “terrible” act and strengthened the commitment of the security forces to clarify what happened.
“It’s a terrible thing what happened and we investigate to know what happened,” he complained.
