Lolita was part of a pioneer generation that contributed to modeling the identity of Brazilian television. He started his artistic career on the radio, through the main broadcasters of the time, such as the radio record. As a singer, he even won the prestigious Roquette Pinto Trophy, one of the greatest prizes of national broadcasts.

His television debut was also marked by a historical moment.
