Babi Cruz, widow of singer Arlindo Cruz, published an image on her social networks with her boyfriend André Caetano. The publication took place on Thursday (9), exactly two months after the death of the samba singer, who died on August 8, 2025 following health complications.
In the photograph shared on digital platforms, Babi appears smiling next to André, while both are holding a heart-shaped pillow. This is the couple’s first public demonstration since the artist’s death.
The relationship between Babi Cruz and André already existed before the death of Arlindo Cruz. During the time when the samba singer was facing health problems, they maintained their relationship discreetly.
Babi and Arlindo were married for 40 years and had two children: Arlindinho, 33 years old, and Flora, 22 years old. The couple’s first meeting occurred during a performance by singer Beth Carvalho, when they were both young.
