Because a betrayed woman filled her ex’s car with glitter

Rafaela Bressan decided to respond after dreaming that her boyfriend was unfaithful to her

The video of Rafaela Bressan, 28, covering her ex-boyfriend’s car and apartment in glitter has turned a personal vendetta into a social media phenomenon. The recording, published on TikTok, has exceeded 11 million views and led the young woman to explain what motivated her to act in that way.

Rafaela said she did not intend to cause any material harm, but only temporary inconvenience. “I wanted to cause jobs, not losses. Everything he had came from his parents, including the car, so it wouldn’t be right to target other people,” he said.

The idea, according to her, was to force her ex to deal with the mess. The glitter, which is difficult to remove, would serve as a symbolic lesson. “He was never the type to clean anything or organize the space. I think to this day there must be glitter all over the apartment,” she said, laughing at the situation.

“Two weeks after the breakup, I had a dream about it and I woke up inspired to look for him… And then, it’s just like that, right? ‘He who seeks finds’… And I found what he had done while we were together,” she said in an interview with Earth.

The young woman revealed that the revenge took place shortly after the discovery of the betrayal, about 17 days after the end of the relationship, which lasted a year. When questioned, the ex reportedly said she could “take revenge however she wanted” – which ended up serving as the impetus for the unusual idea.

“The original idea is never ours, right? There is always some previous reference. I had already seen a video on Instagram of a woman (who I don’t know) doing this in her boyfriend’s car. Then, when my video went viral, I discovered that there is a similar story in a book,” he explained.
