Actress Laura Cardoso attended the ‘Encontro’ program this Thursday, 22nd, and was moved by the presenter Patricia Poeta. The artist was honored and received messages from colleagues recalling the moments in which they acted together.

Actor Lima Duarte praised his friend and saved the start of his TV career Tupi. “My old friend of Tupi, a great actress. This passion you carry for the profession, for this desire to tell stories, to talk about love. Be very happy more and more”, he declared.

And actress Gloria Pires also praised Laura’s professionalism, with whom she starred in the soap opera “Mulheres de Areia” as a mother and daughter. “You are an example for all Brazilian artists,” she said.

Throughout her career, the veteran has played characters such as Carmem, a country lady full of personality on the soap opera “Chocolate com Pimenta”; Caetana in “Another Side of Paradise” and Laksmi Ananda in “Caminho das Índias”.
