Netflix has released the program of Tudum: A World Event for Fans, which will bring news about different productions on the streaming platform. The official event will start at 2pm on Saturday (September 24) on Netflix’s YouTube and will be streamed worldwide.
But in addition to this main schedule, there will still be three other “Regional Tuduns”, aimed at productions from South Korea, India and Japan. By the way, the first starts soon, at 11pm, directly from Seoul.
Interestingly, Tudum started out as a local event in Brazil. It also had two live editions in São Paulo, in 2020 and 2021, before being taken over by the American Netflix and becoming an important commercial for the company, with presentations of videos, images and stars of its productions. But this year, with the introduction of more regional Tuduns, Brazilian programming has lost its original importance, being absorbed by a general Latin presentation.
Among the most anticipated news of the main event is the participation of star Henry Cavill, who will bring new information on the 3rd season of “The Witcher”, presenting a behind-the-scenes video of the production with Anya Chalotra and Freya Allen.
The cast of “Stranger Things” will also be present, answering questions from fans and sharing the bloopers of the fourth season.
Additionally, the “Shadow and Bones” actors will premiere season 2, Jenna Ortega will show a scene from the Wandinha Adams series and reveal the first full trailer of Ryan Murphy’s “The Watcher” series.
Tudum will also present the first material of the new series, such as a new attraction starring actor Noah Centineo (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”) and “Berlin”, a spin-off of “La Casa De Papel”.
Despite the emphasis on North American productions, the event will have space for national programs. Camila Queiroz, for example, will bring news about the 2nd season of the reality show “Casamento aos Cegas Brasil” and about the music competition “La Firma”.
The event will again feature the cast of “The Umbrella Academy”, “Manifest”, “Lupine”, “Round 6”, “Bridgerton”, “Outther Banks”, among other series.
Among the films, the highlights are “Heart of Stone,” which will have behind-the-scenes footage presented by actress Gal Gadot, an unreleased scene from “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” introduced by director Rian Johnson, Jason Momoa who talks about her role in the fantasy “Dreamland”, Guillermo Del Toro opening behind the scenes of “Pinocchio”, Millie Bobby Brown and the trailer for “Enola Holmes 2”, and actors Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon collaborating to present the comedy romantic in which they recite: “Your Place or Mine”.
Other films whose famous cast will be in the Tudum programming are “The Old Guard 2”, “Rescue 2”, “A Escola do Bem e do Mal”, “Através do Mar”, “After the Universe” and the national film ” Maximum load “.
Tudum will also bring news to the world of games, with actor Jamie Foxx presenting a preview of the game “Oxenfree: Netflix Edition”.
