Travis Scott returns to stage five months after Astroworld tragedy

Last November, the now tragically famous Astroworld festival took place, after which the rapper was threatened with “cancellation”. During his performance, dozens of fans were killed and injured, and he himself was accused of indifference to people who asked to stop the performance and call an ambulance.

However, Travis is gradually returning to the stage. He still does not give large-scale concerts, but still occasionally performs in front of a select audience. The rapper, who turns 31 on April 30, performed at the closed after-party of the Coachella festival this weekend, where he performed several of his hits.

The video of Travis’ performance attracted a lot of puzzled comments: in mid-December, the organizing committee decided remove Scott from the headlining list after tens of thousands of people signed an online petition. And for the removal, he received monetary compensation, the amount of which was not disclosed. But at the largest music festival on the planet, he nevertheless appeared.

By the way, while the rapper remained behind the scenes, she and Kylie Jenner managed to become parents for the second time. In February, they had a son, whom they still can’t find a name for.

Recall that the tragic events of the Astroworld festival, which took place almost six months ago, stirred up the entire music industry. During the performance of the rapper, a mass brawl broke out in the crowd and a stampede formed in which 10 people were killed and about 300 were injured. Travis, like Drake, who performed with him, was presented with hundreds of lawsuits.
