The day before, the traditional New York City Ballet gala evening was held at the theater of New York’s Lincoln Center, tickets for which celebrities sell out long before the event itself. This year, the stars of the Sex and the City TV series, actress Kristin Davis and ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and his wife Lisa Rinehart (recall, he played in the sixth season of the cult series beloved Carrie Bradshaw, artist Alexander Petrovsky), lit up the red carpet with their presence. Also at the event were actress Julia Fox, performer and TV presenter Queen Latifah, style icon, actor and singer Billy Porter, Game of Thrones actress Gwendolyn Christie and other celebrities.
It is noteworthy that the event was not able to attend the video president of the NYCB and another star of “Sex and the City” Sarah Jessica Parker — at the last minute, due to family reasons, she had to cancel the tour.
