Brad Pitt Faces Angelina Jolie Assault Allegations: “Unfounded”

In a statement to CNN, the actor’s reps say he takes responsibility for mistakes, but “not for the things he didn’t do.”

Brad Pitt first spoken of the allegations of assault made by your ex wife, Angelina Jolie. In a statement sent to US broadcaster CNN, the actor denounced the allegations “completely false”.

Angelina told the FBI that she was physically and verbally assaulted by her then-husband during an argument about a private plane in September 2016.

In the documents obtained from the American press on Tuesday 4, the actress details the alleged attacks. Pitt allegedly grabbed her by her shoulders and pushed her against the bathroom wall, as well as attacking two of her children.

Representatives of the actor denied the allegations. “(Jolie’s) story continues to evolve each time he tells it with new and unfounded allegations. Brad takes responsibility for what he did, but not for things he didn’t do. These new allegations are completely false.” reads in the declaration.

Jolie initiated divorce proceedings a few days after the flight on which the assaults allegedly took place. At the time, the situation was investigated by the FBI and Pitt was not arrested or charged with the incident.
