Without mentioning Kanye’s name, Lizzo he talked about it directly from the stage. “I feel like everyone in America can’t get away with my name for no reason. I’m minding my own business being fat, black and beautiful. Can I stay here (in Toronto)? Who can marry me so I can get dual citizenship?”, he said, receiving a lot of applause from the audience.
During the talk show, the rapper claimed that the media and the Internet would encourage obesity, justifying that fat people are attacked when they announce that they have lost weight. The musician took as an example the comments of netizens about the singer, who is an activist for the diversity of bodies and for the rights of fat people.
