The popular South Korean group BTS will disband for several years due to the artist’s military service. The members of BTS will complete military service in South Korea: according to the laws of the country, all males from 18 to 35 years old are subject to military service for two years. The group’s press service has already stated that the artists will reunite only by 2025.
Big Hit Music is proud to announce that BTS members are currently planning to enlist in the military,” the label’s press office said in a statement. “After the phenomenal concert in Busan, and now that each of the members is focusing on solo activities, it’s a good time for the members to proudly serve in the military.
At the same time, in July of this year, the soloists spoke about their intentions to develop their solo projects, which means not to perform under the name of BTS, because of which the group’s fans have already managed to get upset.

Recall that the group BTS was formed in 2013. Over the past 9 years, they have become the best-selling South Korean artist in history, as well as the first musician since Michael Jackson to top the US chart in a matter of days. In addition, the group has more than 20 different records listed in the Guinness book. For example, they became the first Koreans to top the US charts and played the most viewed online concert during the COVID-19 pandemic.
