One of the victims allegedly told the actor about Weinstein’s abuses; The judge accepted the prosecutor’s request this Friday
The actor Mel Gibson must be called to testify against Harvey Weinstein during the trial of the former executive of Hollywood for sexual assaults.
According to the American magazine Varietythe judge Lisa B. Lenchin charge of the case, he accepted a request from the prosecution this Friday, 14, to invite the actor to testify.

The judge, however, rejected the defense’s request to question the plaintiff about the racist and anti-Semitic statements he had made over the years. However, Weinstein’s lawyers will have the right to ask if Gibson “holds a grudge” against the director.
