The ‘Fantastic Beasts’ and ‘The Flash’ actor has been arrested (again) for assault weeks after being accused of harassment and public scandal
Ezra Miller was arrested for second-degree assault in Hawaii less than a month after his arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment.
The ‘Fantastic Beasts’ and ‘The Flash’ star was arrested early Tuesday morning after an incident at a private residence in Pāhoa. Police officers responded to a notice of an assault at a party. According to the Hawaii Police Department, Miller allegedly became enraged after being asked to leave and threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman in the forehead and causing a cut of about a half inch. The woman refused treatment for the injury.
Police arrested Miller at 1:30 am after the actor was located on the road during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Kea’au. Miller was released at 4:05 am after consultation with the County Attorney’s Office, pending further investigation which is ongoing.
Miller’s first arrest came on March 28. South Hilo officers responded to a public riot notice at a bar, where Miller had gone berserk and was yelling obscenities while other patrons were singing karaoke. Miller grabbed a microphone from a woman singing and lunged at a man playing darts. After being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, Miller posted $500 bail and was released.
A Hawaiian couple filed a restraining order against Miller the day after the first arrest.. The complaint alleged that Miller broke into the couple’s bedroom and threatened them, and that he also allegedly stole some of the couple’s belongings, including a passport and wallet. A judge dismissed the order on April 13 at the couple’s request.
According to Hawaii Deputy Chief of Police Kenneth Quiocho, Ezra Miller had prompted 10 police calls in Hilo since March 7.
To the Poor box office performance and critics of ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’ external controversies do not stop joining him such as these altercations of Ezra Miller, the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard that caused the departure of the actor from the saga being broadcast live, the Transphobic accusations against author JK Rowling for your comments on social networks, Katherine Waterston’s little screen time (perhaps due to her rejection of Rowling’s views), and the dialogue censorship in china to disguise Dumbledore’s homosexuality.
