From the late Queen Elizabeth, her relatives inherited something. The throne, and with it Balmoral Castle, a large collection of works of art, personal investments and philatelic rarities, passed to the eldest son Charles. His wife has received the title of queen consort, which Buckingham Palace plans to reduce to a simple title of “Queen Camilla” before the coronation. Prince William became the owner of a functioning prison. But the former daughter-in-law of Elizabeth, the ex-wife of her disgraced son Andrew and the mother of Her Majesty’s granddaughters Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, Sarah Ferguson got a pair of fluffy tails – corgis named Muick and Sandy, who took part in the funeral procession along with other members of the royal family.

On her birthday, the Duchess of York, who turned 62 on October 15, shared a series of pictures with the royal pets. And, judging by the photo, the trinity is not bored in the company of a friend.
Gifts that keep coming,” she captioned the footage of her hugging dogs.
By the way, Elizabeth II’s corgis at Ferguson’s place weren’t accidental. Two puppies named Muick and Fergus were given to the Queen by Prince Andrew, Sarah’s ex-husband, during quarantine to help brighten up Her Majesty’s difficult days when her husband, Prince Philip was in the hospital. One of those corgis died last May, after which the queen got another dog – fluffy baby Sandy. The dogs are now settling into their new home at Royal Lodge, Windsor, along with the Duchess of York’s five Norfolk Terriers.
