After 11 years of marriage with businessman Fernando Reina, Galilea Montijo has just revealed that the possibility of separation has crossed their minds.
The presenter of ‘Netas divinas’ admitted, in the last broadcast of the program, that her marriage was not perfect and she had problems with her husband.
“I think when life challenges you as a couple and you pass them, you turn around to see differently,” he said at the beginning of his story. “I am talking about my situation with my husband, that we have lived very hard, very strong, very difficult times,” she confessed.
Montijo and her son’s father, Mateo, decided to put themselves in the hands of professionals to resolve their differences.
“We got treatment, it went really well for each of us as individuals, I saw a lot of things I never thought I had,” she said.

“I went to therapy and looked in a mirror, discovered many things about myself that I am grateful for today, because I love and embrace them, with all my flaws and virtues,” she said.
Montijo admitted that before going to the experts “he was a person who did not applaud” his successes, nor did he “rub” when he failed.
Finally, Galilea and Fernando have managed to appreciate each other in every way: as people, marriage and family, since they became parents in 2012.
“When, after treatment, I go back to see my partner… we realized what we are, first as individuals, then as a couple, then as a family, which is the most important thing,” she recounted.
“We accept ourselves, we recognize our mistakes. I feel like after the chaos comes this part [en la que dices]: “Ah, I thought this was harder.” We became stronger as a couple.”
Although she is currently in a great time with her husband, Galilea expressed her concern to understand how their relationship will develop in the future.
“We’ve been married for 12 years, how fast! Because other than that, it’s gone by way too fast. What about in twenty years? It’s a lifetime,” she said.
