Geri Halliwell, nicknamed Ginger Spice because of her red hair, turned 50 in August. The singer planned to celebrate the anniversary back in September, but the party had to be postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. And so, in early November, Jeri finally managed to gather his star friends and have a good time — according to the Daily Mail, the singer spent over £400,000 on the event.
The party was really great. To congratulate Jerry came not only her husband Christian Horner and 16-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous marriage with director-screenwriter Sasha Gervasi, but also former Spice Girls colleagues and part-time old friends: Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Melanie C.
Ex-“peppercorns” danced together with pleasure and even performed their golden hits. Note that the celebration of the anniversary of Jerry coincided with another anniversary — 25th Anniversary of Spice Girl. However, the girls did not manage to get together in full force. The fifth participant was unable to attend the party — Mel B, 47, who recently announced her engagement to hair stylist Rory McPhee. And a little earlier, in May of this year, Mel B received an order from the hands of Prince William.

In total, the evening was attended by about 160 guests, including David Beckham, who accompanied Victoria, Poppy Delevingne, Holly Willoughby, Myleene Klass, Alexandra Burke, Rylan Clark, Chris Evans and other celebrities. In addition to a luxurious dinner and fireworks with bonfires, the holiday was not complete without a live concert of a jazz swing band. At the end of the evening, the legendary singer Shirley Bassey took the stage and also congratulated Jerry on her performance.
Note that for one of the former “peppercorns”, Melanie C, last summer was more than eventful. In August, she broke up with her producer and boyfriend Joe Marshall after seven years of romance, and in September, for the first time, she came out openly about the sexual harassment she suffered when she performed as part of the Spice Girls.
