What’s the matter? On Wednesday, November 9, Kate visited the Colham Manor Children’s Center in Hillingdon, London. For the visit, she opted for a rather budget-friendly look, apart from accessories: an olive Hobbs London coat with a belt, a Mango rib knit dress, Gianvito Rossi shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Kiki McDonough earrings.
However, everyone paid attention not so much to the monochrome stylish outfit as to her hairstyle. The Duchess, who was a medium-blond brown hair at the beginning of the month, has returned to dark chocolate hair color. And just in this lies the “easter egg”: royal experts noticed that Kate changed her hair color and hairstyle only during pregnancy. But these are not “quirks” of pregnant women, but a clever trick for the press to discuss not her figure, but her hairstyle.
It all started in 2012 when she was expecting her first child, Prince George. Then she appeared in public with a lush bang, and this distracted journalists for a couple of weeks. When Kate was pregnant with Charlotte, she did not refresh her hair color for a month and the tabloids caught on to discussions of regrown roots (Kate herself, however, was not up to it – during her second pregnancy she was tormented by toxicosis).
And, already being pregnant for the third time, the duchess again radically changed her hair, remembering what effect this has on the media. In 2018, she suddenly shortened her hair to a shoulder-length bob and dyed it a dark chocolate shade.
If Kate is indeed pregnant, then this will “sweep” all the news about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Prince Harry’s memoirs are scheduled to be released next January, and a series about the Sussexes will be released on Netflix in December.
