Singer Manu Gavassi was awarded by the MTV EMA 2022, MTV’s European awards, in a local category. He won best Brazilian artist, surpassing Anitta, Gloria Groove, Xamã and L7nnon in the category.
It was Manu’s second consecutive victory in this trophy.
Since the award is decided by the public, the experience of the collective effort and the fan club won at the time of the “BBB 20” helped the artist get more votes.
On his Instagram, he thanked for the win and acknowledged that the fans are amazing.
“I can’t even believe we won again. It means you are truly amazing, you respect me no matter what stage or what I want to create artistically. I feel in my freest stage and happiest with what I do. So thank you a thousand for this gift, for this hug you gave me again,” he said in a video.
She was not the only Brazilian awarded at the Europe Music Awards (EMA). Anitta was also consecrated, above all because her trophy was in the international competition, as the best Latin artist of the year.
