Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank show their son August taking his first steps

Princess Eugenie, unlike her relatives, often publishes moments from her family life on her blog. She recently shared a picture of her 14-month-old son August taking his first steps just over Easter weekend. The photographs show Evgenia Yorkskaya, 32, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, 35, with their baby in a field of daffodils. This is the first photo of the baby not from the back since the birth. Recall that only in the very first photo of the newborn son of Eugenia and Jack, one could also see his face. Obviously, his parents want to protect him from increased media attention, but in honor of the holiday, he was captured in profile and you can see his face.

Little August is the first grandson of Prince Andrew of York and the ninth great-grandson of Elizabeth II, and is thirteenth in line to the British throne. His mother, Princess Eugenia, works at the Hauser & Wirth Gallery of Modern Art in London and is active in educational and charitable activities in the field of ecology and beyond. She did not relinquish the title, but since her husband is a commoner, her son will not be a prince, unless, of course, the British monarch decides otherwise.

The baby’s full name is August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. His parents named him after the husband of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, who was also Augustus, and in honor of his great-grandfather Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. He received the third name Hawke from his great-grandfather from the Brooksbanks. He was born on February 9 last year at the Portland Hospital, where Evgenia herself was born. The wedding of his parents took place on October 12, 2018, seven years after they met. The wedding ceremony took place at St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
