November 16 at the cinema center “October” was the premiere of the film “Our Winter” by the Yakut director Stepan Burnashev. The main roles in the film were played by Irina Mikhailova (“Republic Z”, “Nuuccia”) and Ilya Yakovlev (“Ichchi”). Ksenia Sobchak starred in a cameo role.
The guests of the premiere were Yulia Khlynina, Yuri Bykov, Danila Belykh, Edik Yakut, Aksinya Gog, Maria Lobanova, Ilya Bachurin, Daria Poverennova and others. The figure skater Kamila Valieva was also noted at the show. For the single skater, this is the first appearance at a public event after the loud statement of WADA (World Anti-Doping Commission) demanding that the girl be suspended from any competition for four years and deprive the medals won from the moment the same doping test was taken on December 25, 2021. These are the Russian Championship (gold), the European Championship in Tallinn (gold) and the team tournament at the Olympics (gold for Kamila and five more of our skaters).

“Our Winter” is a dramatic story of a family relationship between a man and a woman that has come to an end, filmed “in the coldest city in the world.” After ten years of marriage, the husband and wife decide to divorce. The division of property and the process of divorce itself take place without scandals. They both understand that divorce is the only way out of a stretched unsuccessful marriage, where each of them believes that they have not fully realized their potential and a difficult decision will give impetus to a new life and forgotten dreams. But only after the divorce, they realize that it was all just an illusion and that in fact the problem was not in marriage.
The film is released in Russian cinemas on November 24.
