Hacker invades Felipe Neto’s Koo: “He will be tried”

One of the supporters of the switch from Twitter to Koo, the influencer Felipe Neto saw his profile on the Indian platform invaded by a hacker.

“Yes guys. They invaded my Koo. Some ‘hacker’ wanted to fool me and left all traces and, therefore, will be prosecuted for what he did,” Felipe said on the platform itself.

Later, the influencer said he got in touch with Koo’s team, who said they were working to resolve the issue.

“Until then, the hacker can post something here. Don’t worry, justice will be done,” concluded Felipe Neto.

The Indian platform has also positioned itself with respect to the case. “Our team loosened the security a bit and the hacker exploited this flaw,” she explained.

After apologizing for the incident, Koo’s official Twitter page also assured that all data is safe on the platform.

The Indian app is undergoing a major update after attracting interest from Brazilians, who are opening thousands of profiles online following rumors of Twitter’s demise. National audiences loved Koo’s name, making endless puns.

This Saturday (19th), Koo became the most downloaded free app in Brazil’s two main app stores, the Play Store (from Google’s Android system) and the App Store (from Apple’s iOS).

To respond to the Brazilian invasion, the platform has published a post announcing that the social network will gain a Portuguese version in the coming days, allowing “Brazilians to publish in their own language and in English on a single screen”.
