Anitta continues to make history at international awards. On Sunday night (11/20) she won Best Female Latin Artist at the American Music Awards.
His victory was celebrated with cheers from the fans present at the event. And he made a point of thanking the fans and pointing out that it was “the first time that a Brazilian had won this award”.
“This award is also dedicated to the other nominees, such as Becky G, who is a great friend,” he mentioned, recalling one of the contestants. “If it weren’t for all the people who work so well with us, it wouldn’t be possible to get here.”
The Brazilian also sang two songs on stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles: “Evolver” and “Lobby”. The second featured American rapper Missy Elliot.
Below are the highlights of Anitta’s participation in the event.
