New information from the American site TMZ has brought to light that actor Jason David Frank (from “Power Rangers”) allegedly argued with his wife, Tammie, hours before he died. He took his own life on Saturday (19), at the age of 49.
In testimony, police officers report that the couple had been in separate rooms since Friday (18th), due to the divorce process. However, Frank reportedly went to Tammie’s room and they started arguing. The conversation was sidelined by employees of the hotel, located in Texas, where the actor’s body was found.
Soon after this fight, the couple started arguing again and Tammie was locked out of the room. The next morning, the Green Ranger’s wife decided to call the police department.
According to authority sources, Tammie was “apparently concerned for her safety” after the fighting. However, as the actor did not respond to calls from the police, the hotel management allowed access to the room and Frank was found dead in the bathroom.
The case is still being investigated by the Texas police.
Jason David Frank was the second most-starred actor in chapters and productions derived from the “Power Rangers” franchise, embodying different versions of the hero from the series’ inaugural season in 1993 to 2018, across seven different titles. He also made a brief appearance in the film ‘Power Rangers’, a cinematic reboot of the original series, produced by Lionsgate, and starred in a reality show about his life, ‘My Morphin Life’, between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, he was an MMA fighter.
The actor has four children from two marriages.
