Daniel Apolloh accused Rede Globo of failing to take a stand on the case; ‘Estadão’ seeks advice from the broadcaster
Daniel Apollo she claims to have been an extra in the soap opera All flowersfrom Rede Globetransmitted by Global game, and claims he was homophobic on the set of the soap opera on Nov. 12. The allegations come after he posted two videos on Tick tock Thursday 24, in which he reports alleged episodes.
The extra claims to be a team leader in the plot. “Totally heavy figuration where I should be serious, and I was. They teased me, saying I looked like a ‘man’, since I’m a man and that doesn’t change because I’m gay. They said, ‘Look how it is stopped,’ joking about my sexual orientation… That’s when I cried and felt bad.”
According to Apolloh, superiors were aware of the case, but downplayed the situation saying it was a “misunderstanding”. “The man who made the ‘jokes’ said he was talking to someone else, but he was talking, looking and pointing at me. All the extras listened and stood by my side,” he adds.

The artist also claims that Rede Globo would not comment on the case after seeking the ombudsman. “To date they haven’t asked me if I’m okay. I have depression, I’m on medication and nothing has been done for them.”
In the placement sent to Stage, Globoplay states that “Globo does not comment on compliance issues.” However, he reiterates that the company “maintains a code of ethics”.
