Singer Biel was involved in a general brawl after compatriot Gusttavo Lima’s show on Saturday night (26/11), in Sao Paulo. In a video that went viral on social media, the singer appears to be arguing with a boy until he was beaten by a policeman and walked away.
The violence took place in the Allianz Parque parking lot, and Biel’s girlfriend, singer Tays Reis, can be seen amidst the commotion.
A 16-second video shows Biel being grabbed by the hair by a man as he tries to punch himself free. So he gets help from a guy in a cap who also gets involved in the fight.
The violence ends when a policeman arrives to separate the fights, but attacks Bienne with a truncheon, until the former farm leaves the others involved.
Another video, which captures more detail of the brawl, shows the policeman trying to stop Biel and another man from hanging a third, when another man in a cap comes up from behind, kicking the immobilized victim. It is only then that the policeman resorts to his truncheon to separate them and prevent the worst.
This Sunday (11/27), Biel appeared angry on Instagram, telling his version and promising: “We will take appropriate measures.”
“Hello people. I woke up and came to talk to you, why are you watching the video. Yesterday we were recording Gusttavo Lima’s dvd and we were attacked by a totally deranged guy. He came with a punch and hit Tays, me and who he was around. He hit women and my friend. I don’t have cockroach blood, sorry,” he explained.
“This video shows my reaction. I couldn’t leave after someone so deranged attacked us, he made the biggest ‘auê’. I left my daughter at home with my mother-in-law to enjoy Gusttavo Lima’s show and see how the end the evening. So, I’m here more to retract you about what happened yesterday. We will take the appropriate measures, you can rest assured, “he added.
The singer also questioned the intent of whoever posted the video of the fight, insinuating that the person did it to hurt him and give the impression that he was responsible for starting the commotion. Biel also argued that anyone would feel the same way seeing their girlfriend and her friends being attacked.
“Here, guys. Yesterday my guardian angel had to work hard, you see. Everything this situation could have entailed. But let’s move on, family. My reaction. Let’s move on and take appropriate action,” he concluded.
