Last weekend, Charles III and his wife Camilla showed a card that will be sent out this year at Christmas. This is the first holiday photo showing them in their new status as the reigning king of Great Britain and his queen consort since the death of Elizabeth II.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, says the message inside the card.
The photo for the postcard was taken at the Braemar Highland Games on September 3 this year. In the picture, Charles (Charles III) poses in a three-piece suit in his favorite shade of gray and a flowery tie, while Camilla shines in a dark green ensemble of a coat dress and a pillbox hat.
By the way, Queen Consort Camilla was featured on the Christmas cover of Good Housekeeping magazine last week.
Note that also at the weekend, a holiday card with Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales appeared on the network. On December 15, she will lead the Christmas service at Westminster Abbey, which she leads for the second year in a row.
