The 11-year-old daughter of Grammy winner Mariah Carey and American comedian Nick Cannon, Monroe is following in her famous mother’s footsteps. Last weekend, she and 52-year-old Mariah performed on stage for the first time and sang the song “Away in a Manger” during the pop diva’s big Christmas concert in Toronto.
This is my baby, here. Eleven years ago, I received the greatest gift, – said Mariah from the stage. – And this is our first duet.
Note that the last show was the first of four planned Christmas performances by Mariah. The next two concerts will take place at the famous New York sports arena, Madison Square Garden.
Mariah Monroe’s daughter also has a Moroccan twin brother. Recall that the singer and father of twins Nick Cannon were married from 2008 to 2016.
