The Sussex titles Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received from the late Queen Elizabeth II after their marriage in 2018. However, after the “megzit” (departure of the couple to the USA), many Britons offered to take this name from them, but this did not happen. Now that the first episodes of the Harry and Meghan documentary show have arrived on Netflix, Sussex critics are talking about the loss of the titles being inevitable. Be that as it may, insiders close to the palace claim otherwise.
Stripping them of their title is not something the king is likely to ever think about… Mainly because it would be too petty and punitive,” one source told the Page Six tabloid.

Another insider added that such a decision by the king would have resulted in “the Sussexes saying it was a retaliatory action and proof that they were never welcome members of the royal family.”
Note that in the first episodes of the Netflix documentary project, Harry and Megan managed to tell in detail not only about their acquaintance and an unsuccessful first date, but also about the dress code, the pressure of the royal family and the relationship with Kate Middleton.
On the Sussex multi-million dollar deal with the streaming giant started talking back in May of this yearand at the beginning of December became known show release date. A few days before the premiere, insiders close to the royal family got in touch with the press and talked about how Buckingham Palace reacted to the upcoming release.
