Miley Cyrus announced during NBC’s New Year’s Eve special that he will release a single on January 13. She was next to her godmother Dolly Parton when he broke the news. Authorized by Flowersthe song already has two promotional videos that give an idea of what’s to come.
In both clips, what is supposed to be a verse of the song can be heard. The singer says: “I can love myself better, baby” and bet on sensuality. In one he appears with a blond and golden model. While in the second he wears a black bikini.
The singer has long indicated that she will go through a new period of experimentation. She has moved towards a more “rockier” sound and has recently changed her hairdo. In the two videos released, the images close with the phrase “New year, new Miley”.
But the news doesn’t have to stop Flowers. A countdown is already running on its website, which has a deadline to end this Thursday 5 January. Watch the videos below.
