Thomas Markle gave another interview in which he again spoke about his famous daughter. In an interview with Dan Wootton for GB News, Mr Markle, 77, said he intended to travel to London in June to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth, at the same time to reunite with daughter Meghan and meet the Duke and grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet for the first time.

I’m looking forward to this trip and I’m going to pay my respects to the Queen and make sure she understands that my whole family respects Her Majesty and all members of the royal family,” he said, speaking from his home in Rosarito, Mexico.

He added that before his visit, he addresses all members of the royal family and assures that he and his relatives “have no unkind feelings towards them, nothing but respect and admiration.” In particular, he expressed a desire to meet with Prince Charles, who took Meghan to the altar instead of him in 2018:

I think Charles and I have quite a lot in common now. Both of us have been greatly influenced by our children. I was very pleased to talk to him, but only if possible.

But Thomas Markle spoke about Prince Harry in a completely different way, criticizing his son-in-law for his unwillingness to fly to London for the royal jubilee for security reasons. Although Buckingham Palace has promised the Sussexes full armed guards at all Royal Family celebrations in June:

I think it’s funny. He knows what security is there. In this situation, he is completely safe. I think he’s an idiot,” Mr. Markle said. “He’s like a child. Follows my daughter everywhere. He is not a man. You say he served in the army, but I can’t believe it. I think he’s kind of a weakling and always will be. He has a brother – a real man, and he has a father – also a real man. But I don’t think he will ever grow up.

Mr Markle previously chided the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for not taking the kids when they visited the Queen earlier this month ahead of the Invincible Games in The Hague, the Netherlands, calling the gesture “a slap in the face of Her Majesty.”

Back in March, Thomas Markle was also ready to take his daughter to court, defending her sister, who accuses Meghan of defamation, claiming that much of what she said in a high-profile interview with Oprah Winfrey, which came out almost a year ago, is a lie. Recall that the other day the couple was condemned by former US President Donald Trump, offering to punish the spouses for disrespect for their own country. Trump believes the prince has “lost his way” and Her Majesty should be tougher on him.

According to insiders, the Queen herself and Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, really “want” him, his wife and children to fly from California to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth. However, Harry still hadn’t made up his mind whether or not he should go home.
