Donatella Versace has made it clear which camp she belongs to. The 67-year-old fashion legend is the guest on Emily Ratajkowski’s new edition of High Low, a signature podcast, where she talks about her friendship with Britney Spears, who recently had a public manic attack. Versace nostalgically remembered the high-profile wedding of a friend and her lover Sam Asgari.
It was amazing to see Britney so liberated, so free, – said the designer, noting that the marriage was “very intimate and beautiful.”
Donatella also briefly told the story of their acquaintance and friendship.
I think I was the first designer she met in her life,” Versace admitted. – She came to Milan, she was 20 years old, maybe 21 years old … She was at the peak of her career, but she remained so modest. During the fitting, she did everything that was required, never refused. She is great.
Britney even went to the altar in a wedding dress that Donatella’s friend made for her to order. It took over 700 hours to create. By the way, Versace had a hand in all the outfits of the bride, which she changed that evening.
