The Ranch Controversy in Paracuaro, Michoacán
Pablo Aguilera claimed in various interviews that the ranch he lived in was a gift from Juan Gabriel. But after the music star’s death, Iván Aguilera, son and global heir to the singer-songwriter’s fortune, filed a lawsuit to recover the fortune.
After a four-year legal battle, it was determined that the property was part of Juan Gabriel’s inheritance, so he asked his uncle to evict him in 2021, although he never left.
Pablo Aguilera did not know why his nephew deprived him of his brother’s gift: “The day they tell me it must be delivered, well, it must be delivered. I am here because Alberto made this, and the little house where I am, I made it, just for that, but later God will tell. What we hope will not happen, must happen anyway,” he told Despierta América.
