Sambista Marcelo Sena, lead singer of the band Coisa Nossa, died at the age of 58 in Brasilia this Sunday 29. He had been battling prostate cancer since 2018.
The singer’s clinical picture worsened over the years and even gave bone metastases. He was hospitalized in critical condition in a hospital in the federal capital.
The information about the death was confirmed in a note of regret posted on the band’s and singer’s official Instagram page.
“It is with deep regret that we inform all friends and fans of the loss of our beloved Marcelo Sena,” reads the text.
Burial details have not yet been released.
