The star of the series “Knock on my door” Chagry Chitanak said that his mother’s house in the city of Antakya, Hatay province, was destroyed. The wife of the artist Başak Gümüldjineliolu emotionally appealed to the fans asking for help.

The girl said that the rescue team had not yet begun work in the area where the mother-in-law’s house was located. The actress noted that, most likely, every effort is being made to help, but so far there is no way to deal with the analysis of the wreckage in that particular area.

Gümülcineliolu said that no one was ready in such a situation. She noted that it is imperative to learn from this so that such tragedies do not happen again in the future. Basak drew a plan of her mother-in-law’s apartment, which she had already sent to the rescuers. The actress and her husband meet with representatives of various services, but so far to no avail.

We are in despair from which there is no way out. We don’t know what else can be done now, besides how to wait for help from the state, the star concluded.

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the south-east of Turkey early in the morning on February 6. Nearly 6,000 buildings collapsed in 10 provinces where powerful tremors were felt. This disaster was the largest in the history of the country over the past 100 years: the last time a serious earthquake was in 1939. The death toll exceeded 12 thousand people.

Earlier it became known that an adaptation of the Turkish TV hit “Knock on my door” will be released in Russia. Gazprom-Media Holding and Okko online movie theater are filming a Russian version of the popular series.
