A fan of Russian singer Dima Bilan pointed out an unexpected upside to his concert at VTB Arena in Moscow, even as the show faced criticism online. Instagram user @milencheek posted a video from the performance on her page.
The clip shows the 44 year old pop singer standing on a raised platform that blocked the view for some fans in the dance zone. In the footage, Bilan appears in a shirt, jacket and low rise trousers. The fan joked that from the fan zone she could sometimes see even more than she had paid for.
The video has drawn 570,000 views. Other fans who attended the concert noticed the same detail in his outfit. Comments included one asking if she was bragging, another saying she and her friends had been waiting for the trousers to accidentally slip, one saying fans had appreciated it and wanted more, another suggesting it was planned all along, and one joking that a lot of hope was riding on his belt.
Bilan's response to criticism
Bilan had earlier addressed audience members after his show drew criticism. He said the concert was innovative and included complex technical elements, adding that such new features do not always work perfectly the first time.
