Emily Ratajkowski paid tribute to her beloved actress. The model reposted the publication with pictures of her carnival costume, referring to the image of Raquel Welch in the 1966 film “Million years BC” “antediluvian” skin bikini. In this outfit, Emily celebrated Halloween 2018.

I’m obsessed with reference looks, which is what they would call “humanity’s first bikini,” she wrote at the time.

American actress and model Raquel Welch passed away at the age of 82 just a few days ago, on February 15th. The cause of death, according to relatives, was a short but serious illness.

Raquel Welch was born on September 5, 1940 in Chicago. Her roles in the films “Fantastic Journey” and the same “Million Years BC” brought her fame. In 1974, she starred in The Three Musketeers: The Queen’s Pendants, for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.

In total, Welch has more than 70 roles in film and television. Playboy magazine named Raquel the “Most Desirable Woman” of the 1970s and ranked her third on its “100 Sexiest Stars of the 20th Century” list. Empire magazine in 1995 included her in the list of “100 sexiest stars in the history of cinema.”
