In social networks today they don’t know what news to read ahead: either the results of the Emmy Awards, or Fashion Week in New York, or film festivals in Venice and Toronto … But so far, the grandiose Vogue show has become the highlight of the Fashion Week World dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the magazine.
The show was attended, it seems, by all the most sought-after models of our time: Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Amber Valletta, Irina Shayk, Preshes Lee, Lila Moss, Mariacarla Boscono, Leah Kebede, Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Shalom Harlow and many others. The show was opened by the heroine of the cover of the latest, September issue of the gloss, Serena Williams – she stepped out on 13th Avenue, which became the catwalk, in a silver Balenciaga dress with a cape.

Further, models began to appear under Madonna’s Vogue track, but after a while chaos and confusion began, as is often the case on busy avenues of the metropolis (remember the scenes from Sex and the City, where Carrie Bradshaw walks through the city in a crowd of people). In the same way, the audience had to literally snatch out celebrities, of which there were an incredible number: here are the newlyweds Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, who gave the exclusive for shooting their wedding to Vogue, and the singer Erika Badu, and Kanye West (who, however, was just late for show, but, having entered, I decided not to sit in the front row, but to walk along the catwalk), and the legendary dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov is the last one to simply stole the show. Rapper Lil Nas X closed this epic action: all this time he sat side by side with the editor-in-chief of the magazine Anna Wintour and at the end took the microphone, jumped up and began to perform his main hit Industry Baby.
There were quite a few guests in the hall: we recognized Jared Leto, Doja Cat, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Coco Rocha, Christian Siriano – but there were probably many more. In the meantime, we are considering emotional footage from the show and Irina Shayk’s author’s backstage view – the supermodel, unlike her colleagues, found the strength to capture the preparation for the show.
As for brands, there were outfits from all the famous fashion houses of the world: Fendi, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and many others. By the way, the show was preceded by a city “fair” of local designers and pop-up stores of major brands, and the minimum entrance ticket for this event cost $130. If someone wanted to go to the show, then the price soared to 3 thousand dollars.
