Czech niche perfume brand KINTSUGI is celebrating its 1st year

Czech perfume brand KINTSUGI celebrates its first year on the market in November. Five unisex perfumes already resonate among fragrance lovers: DEUS, SANTAL, LUNA, KAIGAN and CARNAL, which the brand introduced to the public last year.

To celebrate this anniversary, KINTSUGI has prepared a re-launch of its previous fragrances and also presents the new Hanzo perfume.

Hanzo is the answer to a busy life where returning to yourself and the soothing aspects of nature are so important. Hanzo embodies a feeling called Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing” in Japanese. Shinrin-yoku represents the harmony and peace of a walk in the forest, where you can finally listen to yourself. Organize your thoughts. Slow down.

Hanzo has a very personal meaning for the founder. It celebrates life, nature, balance, a sense of contentment and harmony within ourselves. For KINTSUGI, the main inspiration is Japan, so the Hanzo perfume mixes the woody forest scent of cypress, pine and balsam fir with lychee, yuzu essential oil and osmanthus flowers. There is also exclusive vetiver, and the perfume gains a light mysticism thanks to incense and cedar. Like other KINTSUGI perfumes, Hanzo is a unisex fragrance for everyone who prefers and seeks unconventional and original stimuli in life and likes to surround themselves with things that have depth.

About KINTSUGI:

KINTSUGI, translated as “golden seams”, is an ancient technique for repairing ceramic objects. Once upon a time in Japan, it was believed that it was a shame to get rid of broken pottery, so they glued it together with gold powder glue. In this way, they breathed new life into broken objects and thus celebrated their imperfection. Over time, art also became a philosophy of life as a metaphor for accepting our shortcomings.

The founders of the KINTSUGI brand, Martina Švacha and Daniela Nikolova, share a long-standing friendship and a hedonistic passion for everything that stimulates the human senses. He produces his perfumes completely by hand. In production, they use only the highest quality natural essential oils with a clear origin and perfume molecules from established manufacturers with more than a century of history. KINTSUGI production processes are eco-friendly and vegan-friendly. Packaging materials are selected in such a way as to prevent the generation of excess waste – they are made from recycled material and produced in a protected workshop. All perfumes are developed to be gender-neutral, but at the same time sophisticated in order to move a person to a deeper connection of body and soul. Founders Martin and Daniel were also inspired by the KINTSUGI philosophy and created a series of perfumes that remind us every day of who we really are, with everything that belongs to us.
