Pirelli presented the result of the shooting for its annual calendar. The new issue is dedicated to the theme “Love Letters to the Muse”. The muses were 12 of the most models: Adwoa Aboah – the Queen (the Queen), Adut Akech – the Dreamcatcher (the Dream Catcher), He Kong – the Sage (the Sage), Cara Delevingne – the Artist (the Performer), Ashley Graham – the Activist (the Activist), Bella Hadid – Fairy (the Sprite), Karlie Kloss – Tech Scientist (the Tech Savant), Precious Lee – Storyteller (the Storyteller), Leela Moss – Seer (the Seer), Sasha Pivovarova – Artist ( the Painter); Emily Ratzkowski – Writer (the Writer), Guinevere Van Sinus – Photographer (the Photographer), Lauren Wasser – Athlete (the Athlete), Kaya Wilkins – Musician (the Musician).
According to Australian photographer Emma Summerton, who took care of the calendar, she was trying to create some “mysterious thing that you could never get your hands on.” Indeed, the photographs show a neon, surreal and irrational picture.
For the first time in 8 years, the calendar features only models and not actresses, musicians, athletes, activists and celebrities. Although many of them have their own business or other “hobby” besides fashion. See backstage here.
