Hide the belly and give confidence: dresses, skirts and pants in which it is comfortable to celebrate the New Year

Let’s be honest – not strangers after everyone else. Even taking into account that we all try to spend the holidays consciously and always mentally reboot, and not just have a belly feast, during the winter “holidays” you want to allow yourself an extra piece of cake or a hearty serving of salad. And the visits of guests and the meetings with girlfriends with whom we had promised to see each other for several months is a gastronomic catharsis in general!

And you certainly don’t have to regret it: you deserve to relax a little and feel the taste of life, literally and figuratively. So we suggest postponing worries about the fitness schedule and convulsive training planning until January, and having a good time on New Year’s Eve. If the goal was not to beat everyone with your iron abs and crop top, and comfort remains the main focus, we know what you should try.

A-line dresses are our best friends for when you don’t want to emphasize your waist or even sculpt your figure with clothes. You can, of course, choose a dress with a fluffy skirt and a high waist, but you can rely on the most basic style. To give it a festive look, we choose interesting textures – sequins, sequins, double dresses with a transparent cape on top.

Perhaps, in principle, these are the most comfortable pants in the world. But we warn you of the catch: if you are going to open the waist, you will have to choose models with a thin elastic band – otherwise the pants will look like jogging, and this is not the best idea for an evening look. It is better to combine such loose trousers with a woolen shirt: feathered “pajama” sets will come in handy!

Another work trick is to hide the “excess” behind the drapery. Thus, you artificially create an “air” where tight styles are contraindicated. We personally love the puff sleeves – they look solemn, but not theatrical. But this, of course, is an amateur detail, but dresses with a waist drapery are the perfect solution!

The same mechanism works here as in pants with an elastic band: you simply cover the stomach, fixing the waist higher, and the unwanted bulk goes unnoticed. Neatly draped skirts, a low neckline (oh, that slimming power of vertical lines!) and sequined options will suit us. More shine!
