And immediately minus 5 kg: look how the stylist saved the “gray” images of an ordinary girl

It’s a shame when a new sweater or pants show your belly or your thighs, or whatever else you want to hide. You expect something completely different from clothes, don’t you? I want it to emphasize only the dignity of the figure – and it’s easy to do if you choose the right shape, size and color. We show how this stylistic magic works!

Do you remember the cult movie “Princess Diary”? There, the main character of a discreet schoolgirl turns into a real royal person and gains confidence in her own attractiveness. Of course, this happened due to many factors, one of which was an updated wardrobe. The character of Anne Hathaway was chosen based on her status and emphasizing the dignity of the figure’s outfits. Who doesn’t dream of it? We ourselves sometimes revise our favorite cute movie and sigh: if only we could wake up one day, and the princess’s wardrobe appeared all by itself in the room – it’s magic!

But it’s true, childhood dreams, and the realist in us is convinced: you don’t need to hire the services of a personal royal tailor to transform your style. Just notice examples of beautiful styles and try them on yourself – visually or in reality. And you can (and should!) learn from other people’s fashion mistakes, which is why we sincerely advise you to revisit stylists’ before/after pictures from time to time and use the fashion tips you find.

This time it’s image specialist Nina Valderr who will be supporting her, helping clients gain self-confidence through well-chosen outfits. Look at these transformation results!

Add accent

Why do you think the image in the photo on the left doesn’t attract attention at all? The point is the combination of inexpressive shades of a down jacket and a bag – it turned out sad (like the weather outside the window). Skinny jeans do not add joy with them, lying on the boots and revealing all the irregularities of the lacing. By the way, the stylist advises to tuck these tight pants into high winter shoes – this way the legs visually appear longer, and the figure will not look “grounded”.

The “after” image is quite another matter. Knee-high suede boots with a wide top, paired with leggings in a similar beige hue, very thin. Take note! With a pale pink coat, the look has noticeably refreshed – thank you, barbicore! Do not be afraid to add colors to your wardrobe, it will only benefit her – let’s start with a juicy accent, then learn how to combine 2-3 shades.

Decide on a color

How well-chosen pants and bright accessories change the impression of the image! But let’s do it right. Jeans in the “before” photo, in general, are not bad, but they do not exactly fit the waist: therefore, they visually shorten the legs. This fashion misunderstanding was due to a low waist (note) and a blouse tucked into jeans.

The stylist replaced them with a classic long sleeve with a loose, high waist, which is definitely the right decision. A strict red blazer looks more appropriate with blouses than a sporty windbreaker model on the right, covering a beautiful jabot. Although in fact there is no crime in it: things of the “glam” style are combined with those of sport – this is how sport-chic was born. But for this it is important to maintain a balance of volume, for example, to wear a loose jacket – here I chose a narrow model without “air”, which hacked the idea of a non-trivial outfit into it bud.

Pay attention to another detail: the stripes on the long sleeve overlap with the color of the blazer – the easiest trick to tie the look together. A similar combination of clothes will undergo slight changes in winter: you can wear a coat or a maxi down jacket over it, and instead of sandals, heeled boots or boots. And there is no need to part with a bag of juicy color – let it stay and cheer you up in the cold!
