A final dubbed trailer for the South Korean sci-fi action-horror film "Hope" (Hope, rated 18+) has been released online, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported.
The film follows aggressive, wildly varied aliens who suddenly arrive in a small port city, leaving residents to face the extraterrestrial nightmare alone.
Fassbender and Vikander as aliens
Michael Fassbender and his wife Alicia Vikander portray the alien creatures, appearing unlike anything audiences have seen from them before, according to the outlet.
The cast also includes Jung Ho-yeon of "Squid Game," Taylor Russell of "Lost in Space" and Cameron Britton of "Mickey 17." The director is Na Hong-jin, known for the 2016 horror film "The Wailing."
Cannes premiere and release date
"Hope" had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where critics responded favorably, comparing it among other things to "Mad Max: Fury Road." The film's Russian premiere is set for September 10.
