Former Spanish bullfighter Fran Rivera has been spending a holiday on the beaches of Cadiz with his wife Lourdes Montes and three of his children.
The family outing comes amidst reports of a growing rift between Rivera and his younger brother, Cayetano Rivera, over the annual Goyesca bullfight in Ronda.
Rivera was pictured enjoying time on the sand with Montes and their three shared children: Carmen, 11, Curro, seven, and Nicolas, who recently turned one. The designer's mother, Lourdes Parejo, and sister, Sibi Montes, also joined the family for the coastal break in southern Spain.
Rivera's eldest daughter, Tana Rivera, was absent from the family gathering. She has been traveling to support her boyfriend, the Peruvian bullfighter Andres Roca Rey, during his bullfighting events.
On the beach, Rivera showed affection toward Montes with warm gestures as she sat in a beach chair. He also set up two inflatable paddling pools on the sand for his two older children.

Witnesses noted that Rivera spent time playing in the water with the children, jumping over waves and planning to splash Montes as she watched from the shore. The former bullfighter appeared completely relaxed and unconcerned by reports surrounding his family, focusing on spending happy days with his relatives.
The Goyesca bullfight controversy
The relaxed holiday stands in contrast to ongoing speculation regarding tension between the two brothers. Reports indicate that Cayetano Rivera is disappointed after being left off the bill for the Goyesca bullfight in Ronda for another year.
The Goyesca bullfight holds deep personal significance for the Rivera family. Cayetano Rivera took his alternativa ceremony to become a full matador in the Ronda arena and has expressed that his ultimate dream is to permanently retire from bullfighting by cutting his ponytail on that specific sand.
A famous bullfighting dynasty
Fran Rivera and Cayetano Rivera are members of one of Spain's most prominent bullfighting lineages, as the sons of legendary matador Francisco Rivera Perez, known as Paquirri. Fran Rivera retired from full-time bullfighting in 2017 and has long been involved in managing the historic Goyesca event in Ronda, a traditional bullfight held annually in Andalusia.
Lourdes Montes, a Spanish fashion designer, married Rivera in 2013. The couple regularly spends summer breaks in Cadiz, a coastal province in southern Spain renowned for its Atlantic beaches.
