Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will return to Spanish cinemas on August 28 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The film kicked off one of the most successful movie franchises in history and offers fans the chance to watch the beginning of Hogwarts on the big screen.

Screenings are scheduled for only five days: August 28, 29, 30, and 31, as well as September 1. Warner Bros. organized the wide re-release, which spans dozens of theaters in towns and cities across Spain. The distributor provided a breakdown of participating theaters by location so viewers can find a nearby cinema.
Cinemas and Movie Details
The film originally premiered in 2001 under director Chris Columbus and starred Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. It adapted J. K. Rowling's books for the screen, launching a franchise that ultimately grossed billions of dollars globally.
Moviegoers will be able to board the Hogwarts Express again and relive the story of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The fantasy adventure is not the only film marking a quarter century this year. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Spirited Away, and The Fast and the Furious also celebrate their 25th anniversaries with theatrical re-releases.
