Daily Mail insiders have ranked Gen Z celebrity children in Hollywood based on their talent, professional success, and industry reputations across film and music.
Nepotism is an established tradition in Tinseltown, where Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis was born to Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, and stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert Downey Jr., and Jane Fonda built successful careers from famous pedigrees. Now a fresh wave of Gen Z heirs is entering entertainment, divided into distinct tiers ranging from accomplished breakout performers to high-profile hopefuls.
A List Industry Breakouts
Joe Anders, the 22-year-old son of Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet and director Sam Mendes, made his feature debut at age 15 in the war epic 1917 credited as Joe Mendes. He changed his professional name to Joe Anders in 2022 as the nepo baby debate went viral. Anders played troubled teenager Zach in Apple TV's Cape Fear, sharing the screen with Amy Adams, Javier Bardem, Patrick Wilson, and Lily Collias.

At age 19, Anders took a weekly screenwriting course at the National Film and Television School and wrote Goodbye June, a screenplay inspired by the death of his maternal grandmother. Winslet made her directorial debut with the script, which Netflix acquired with a cast including Helen Mirren and Toni Collette. Speaking to The Observer, Anders said, "I think, obviously, I am very lucky I've been born into a family that works in an industry I admire and love and want to be a part of. I mean, I'm unbelievably lucky. I'm not deluding myself about how lucky I am," adding that he "doesn't want to be given anything." His upcoming projects include Netflix's adaptation of East of Eden as Aron Trask alongside Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, and Mike Faist. He is also close to his older half-sister, actress Mia Threapleton, who is Winslet's daughter with painter and filmmaker Jim Threapleton.

Honor Alba, the 18-year-old daughter of actress Jessica Alba and film producer Cash Warren, is preparing to attend Yale University in the autumn. Her parents split in 2024 after 16 years of marriage. A source told the Daily Mail, "Honor wants to be a writer and director. She wants to be behind the camera, not in front of it like her famous mother. She definitely wants to be behind the scenes and call the shots."

In July, Honor released her short film Unsaid, which she wrote, directed, and edited. The source stated her parents are "already making connections for her to enter the business once she finishes with Yale." She previously gained experience working for director Tim Story on 72 Hours starring Kevin Hart, and completed an internship following the crew on Netflix's upcoming 13 Going on 30 reboot in Los Angeles.

Sadie and Sunny Sandler, daughters of actor Adam Sandler and model-actress Jackie Sandler, are expanding beyond their father's film productions into distinct roles. Sadie, age 20, made her on-screen debut as a toddler in You Don't Mess with the Zohan, later appearing in Grown Ups, Blended, Murder Mystery, and voicing Winnie in Hotel Transylvania. She currently stars in the college comedy Roommates. Sunny, age 17, recently starred in Netflix's coming-of-age film Don't Say Good Luck.

The sisters broke through together in Netflix's 2023 film You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and recently reunited with their father in Happy Gilmore 2. Director Kyle Newacheck told People in July 2025, "They're very good at acting. It just makes me excited to see what they're going to come up with in the next 10 years, if they're going to follow their father's footsteps and be committed to this family business. They're all very talented and it's awesome watching them work." A source told the Daily Mail that Sadie operates as a quirky character actress while Sunny is being groomed as a romantic comedy leading lady.

B List Performers and Musicians
Keen Ruffalo, the 25-year-old son of Avengers actor Mark Ruffalo and Sunrise Coigney, was raised on a farm before earning screen credits in Thor: Ragnarok, Hal & Harper, and Task. At age 18, he studied fashion design at Drexel University before dropping out during the pandemic. He told Cultured, "It was like, I need to figure out what I'm gonna do with my future. Acting makes my dad happy, maybe I'll enjoy it."

After taking acting classes and completing over 100 auditions, Keen landed roles in the Green Day-inspired comedy Nimrods and Amazon Prime Video's teen drama Sterling Point. He told Cultured that his father insisted on not handing him a career until seeing him perform in a play, recalling his father said, "All right, I think you're ready to do this." Keen added, "Contrary to popular belief, I was actually raised on a farm and kept very far away from all of that."

Magnus Ferrell, the 22-year-old son of comedian Will Ferrell, achieved music success with his single Asleep Talking released in April. The song entered the Billboard charts after Will played it for Michelle Obama during a podcast appearance, earning praise from Khloe Kardashian, Charlie Puth, and Heidi Klum. Magnus told The Hollywood Reporter, "You have to acknowledge the position that you're in because they're not wrong. I can't control the attention that I get because of my dad, but, like, it is there."

A source told the Daily Mail, "Magnus really wants his music career to take off, and there have been moments so far of it actually working out. He gets that people are going to ask him about his dad all the time, but he's not looking to do Anchorman 3 or be on SNL. He wants to be a successful singer and believes he is talented enough to make it." The insider added, "He hasn't been pushed down our throats like some other nepo babies; he seems to be doing it right. If there is a right way to do it, Magnus might have the blueprint."

Kai Schreiber, the daughter of actors Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, made her modeling debut walking for Valentino at Paris Fashion Week in March 2025 at age 16. Responding to online criticism, Liev told TMZ, "I don't have many thoughts for the haters. I'm gonna put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world? Do they have the choice of what you did? It doesn't matter, like, that's her life. She does what she wants with her life. And I'm super proud of her. I thought she did an amazing job on the show."

Schreiber has appeared in campaigns for Valentino, Haus Labs, and H&M, editorial features in AnOther, The Face, V, and Interview, and walked for Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier. A source told the Daily Mail that Schreiber aims to make her first million by age 18, land a Vogue cover, and walk for Chanel. The source added that her parents worry her intense drive might make her appear as a "total diva or too confident with an attitude," noting, "They want her to be careful and take her time. They just worry about her going out into the world to work at 17. They want to protect her." She previously voiced a young wolf alongside her older brother Sasha Schreiber in the 2016 film The Jungle Book.

C List Emerging Talent
Sean Preston Federline, age 20, and Jayden Federline, age 19, the sons of pop star Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, made their runway debut at Vetements' Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week. Jayden told Vogue he wants to continue modeling, while Sean Preston noted he enjoyed the experience but remains focused alongside his brother on making music together. Their appearance followed Spears entering a treatment facility after a driving under the influence arrest, with reports indicating her sons encouraged her to seek help.

The brothers lived primarily with their father following their parents' separation, leading to years of limited contact with Spears before Jayden began rebuilding the relationship in late 2024. Critics have questioned whether the brothers are capitalizing on the Spears surname as they launch public careers. Sean Preston recently updated his social media handle to use Spears instead of Federline.
Apple Martin, the daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, signed with CAA after graduating from Vanderbilt University in May 2026 with a degree in Law, History, and Society. She previously modeled for Gap, Chloe, and Self-Portrait, and performed in October 2025 with Vanderbilt student band Jade Street at Nashville's Cannery Hall while her father watched from the audience. Martin has now pivoted to acting, landing a role in director Nancy Meyers' upcoming film Paris Paramount alongside Penelope Cruz, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, and Tony Hale. In a 2025 interview with The Telegraph, Martin said, "I constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have these opportunities. I know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means. But my parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn't be entitled to anything. I have to work."
Rowan Henchy, the 23-year-old daughter of actress Brooke Shields and producer Chris Henchy, joined season two of Bravo's reality series Next Gen NYC. A Wake Forest communications graduate with a journalism minor, Henchy aims to pursue broadcast news. Shields told ET in May that she was "sick to my stomach" over the show because "we're not a reality family," but advised her daughter to "parlay" the appearance into other career opportunities as "a business choice." A source told the Daily Mail that Henchy is "amazing, incredible, ambitious, sweet and grounded," while Henchy told Today she is "obsessed" with the label nepo baby and will not shy away from it.
D List and Z List Profiles
Milania Giudice, the 20-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and ex-husband Joe Giudice, was arrested in May following a domestic dispute at her mother's New Jersey home. Prosecutors charged her with simple assault and causing bodily injury for allegedly striking an individual identified in court as LR. Giudice pleaded not guilty in July. Police video later showed her laughing in a patrol car, and she joked online about an AI-generated mugshot stating she "looked fire" before clarifying she was not proud of the arrest and wished to learn from it.
A source told the Daily Mail that Giudice earned a reputation as the family's "rowdy girl" following her father's prison sentence and deportation to Italy. Teresa and Joe split in 2019 and finalized their divorce in 2020 after 20 years of marriage. The source added that stepfather Luis Louie Ruelas "will never replace Joe" and alleged the family presents a facade online. In contrast to her sister Gia Giudice, who launched a podcast, modeling work, and influencer career, Milania is attempting to rebuild her public image to avoid embarrassing her mother, who serves as the family's main source of income.
North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has accumulated high-profile entertainment credits including performing with her father, voicing a character in PAW Patrol, appearing as Young Simba in The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl, and releasing her six-track EP N0rth4evr. However, her planned 14-date co-headlining tour with rapper Molly Santana was canceled on Ticketmaster days before it was set to begin. Her public appearances featuring electric-blue hair, facial piercings, and fake face tattoos have drawn public scrutiny regarding early exposure to adult celebrity culture.
Alabama Barker, the 20-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and model Shanna Moakler, has drawn public attention for online feuds, including a feud with Bhad Bhabie involving diss tracks and social media accusations. A source told the Daily Mail that Barker changed significantly after moving in with Travis and stepmother Kourtney Kardashian, claiming she wears provocative clothes and heavy makeup like a "Barbie doll." Following negative body-shaming comments, Barker posted a TikTok video stating she would take the highest dose of Ozempic to become "so skinny." The source noted Moakler urged her not to give in to online cruelty, adding that Barker is working on a pop album with her brother Landon Barker, who released his debut single in 2023.
Alaia Baldwin, the 33-year-old daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, sister of Hailey Bieber, and sister-in-law of Justin Bieber, was formally charged in January following a February 2024 arrest at a Savannah, Georgia club. Prosecutors charged Baldwin with simple battery, simple assault, battery, and criminal trespass, alleging she threw a used tampon at a bartender, pulled a bouncer's hair, and struck another bouncer in the groin. Baldwin denied forcing her way into an employee bathroom and maintained she acted in self-defense, with the allegations remaining unproven in court. Meanwhile, 28-year-old Malia Obama, the eldest daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama, graduated from Harvard in 2021 after working on Girls, Extant, and Donald Glover's Swarm. She made her directorial debut at Sundance with the short film The Heart under the name Malia Ann, while continuing to face media coverage over smoking photos dating back to a 2016 Lollapalooza video.
