Instagram user zoriankash revealed that living in Poland with her boyfriend costs a total of 6,550 zloty each month after splitting all their expenses. The Ukrainian content creator noted that cost of living figures in Poland differ significantly from those in Ukraine.
The couple moved in together a few months ago and agreed to divide every bill evenly. She explained that housing represents their single largest monthly outlay, with their apartment located near the city centre of Wroclaw costing 3,100 zloty, or approximately 36,000 Ukrainian hryvnias.
In a detailed breakdown of their budget, she listed food as their second biggest expenditure at about 1,500 zloty, or roughly 17,500 hryvnias. She added that personal care routine expenses reach around 550 zloty, which equals about 5,800 hryvnias each month.
The couple spends 400 zloty on a joint gym membership and allocates about 400 zloty for leisure and entertainment. Car operation and maintenance costs come to around 350 zloty, with other miscellaneous expenses taking up roughly 250 zloty.
Wroclaw is the historic capital of Lower Silesia and one of the largest economic hubs in western Poland. The Polish zloty serves as the official national currency, while many Ukrainian citizens have relocated to Polish cities in recent years.
Moving to Dubai costs
The calculation comes alongside financial advice for individuals planning relocation elsewhere abroad. According to a report previously published on the glamour.hu website, moving to Dubai with only a few weeks of financial reserves is unsafe for prospective migrants.
The report stated that an unpretentious single individual should secure at least three months of living expenses prior to moving, though maintaining a buffer for four to six months offers greater security. Experts quoted by the outlet recommended establishing a personal reserve of approximately 350,000 to 700,000 hryvnias per person.
Financial experts added that individuals planning to acquire their own housing, purchase a vehicle, or spend several months searching for employment should begin their move to Dubai with a substantially higher initial budget.
Dubai is the largest metropolis in the United Arab Emirates and a major international business hub. Relocating to the city requires significant financial preparation to cover initial accommodation, transport, and setup costs.
