Television presenter Jorge Javier Vázquez will return to Spanish network Telecinco following his summer break to host El Diario de Jorge on September 7. The Catalan broadcaster is also confirmed to host the upcoming third edition of reality competition Supervivientes All Stars.

The announcement clears up recent uncertainty surrounding Vázquez and his ongoing presence on Telecinco during the competitive afternoon broadcast slot. While a summer scheduling overhaul temporarily removed him from afternoon programming, production company Mediaset España confirmed his return for the upcoming autumn season.
Mediaset España has begun casting contestants for the 2026 edition of Supervivientes All Stars. Promotional materials released by Telecinco promise an explosive roster of participants and a significantly tougher environment for contestants returning to the show's iconic La Palapa location in Honduras.
Mediaset Contract Negotiations and Departure Rumours
The announcement comes amid conflicting reports regarding the presenter's long-term future at Mediaset España's headquarters on the Fuencarral highway in Madrid. Media outlet Vibras en Corte reported that the network does not plan to renew Vázquez's exclusive long-term contract when it expires on July 31, 2027.
Vibras en Corte clarified that while Vázquez would remain at the helm for immediate projects including Supervivientes All Stars, his multi-year agreement would end in 2027. The report prompted media speculation over whether rival broadcaster La Séptima could serve as a future destination for the presenter.

Sources from Mediaset España rejected the reporting in comments to news outlet 20minutos, describing the departure claims as unfounded. Network representatives stated that no contract negotiations or exit talks are currently taking place, noting that more than 12 months remain on his existing agreement.
Víctor Janeiro Linked to Reality Show Cast
Television news outlet PocoPasaTV reported that Víctor Janeiro is set to join the cast of Supervivientes All Stars. Janeiro, the brother of bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique, recently entered an ongoing public media dispute involving television personality Belén Esteban and the Janeiro family.

Mediaset España aims to leverage the publicity surrounding the high-profile family feud for the upcoming series. Janeiro previously won the reality television competitions La isla de los famoS.O.S and Pesadilla en el Paraíso. Telecinco has not yet announced an official premiere date for the third edition of Supervivientes All Stars.
