Julia Janeiro has issued an urgent statement on social media denying reports of a past romance with Pietro Costanzia and threatening legal action against those spreading the claims. The daughter of retired Spanish bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique announced that her lawyers are preparing lawsuits to refute allegations that a relationship took place or caused a rift with her half-sister, Andrea Janeiro.
Janeiro described the reports as false information and a deliberate attempt to discredit her. She rejected claims that any relationship with Costanzia had consequences within her family or led to her ongoing estrangement from her sister.

The legal threat comes as Janeiro finds herself at the center of media attention following a public dispute with television personality Belén Esteban. Janeiro became a prominent media figure during the summer, initially making sharp comments to street reporters before changing strategy to pursue formal legal channels alongside her family.
The tension worsened after Esteban appeared on a television broadcast to criticize Jesulín de Ubrique, whom she referred to on air as the invisible man. Ubrique is currently preparing a joint lawsuit with his wife, dentist María José Campanario, while Janeiro confirmed to reporters that her own legal challenge against Esteban is brewing.
Jesulín de Ubrique is one of Spain's most famous former bullfighters, having transitioned from the arena into a prominent public figure. His family life has remained a staple of Spanish entertainment media, particularly his past relationship with Esteban, with whom he shares his eldest daughter, Andrea Janeiro.
Janeiro acknowledged that her increased public profile opened commercial doors, including advertising opportunities, but also exposed her private life to media scrutiny. Press reports have focused on why Janeiro and her half-sister Andrea have not spoken for years, a subject Janeiro previously kept quiet about to respect her sister's request for anonymity.
Allegations of Leaked Confessions
Speculation surrounding the sisters' estrangement intensified in recent days across television talk shows and celebrity commentary panels. Reports claimed that Janeiro had privately confessed to Andrea that she was dating Pietro Costanzia, and that this confidential conversation was subsequently leaked to the press.
Commentators suggested that details of the alleged romance reached Esteban before appearing in news outlets. However, Luis Pliego, the director of the Spanish celebrity magazine Lecturas, publicly denied on Tuesday that Esteban was the source of the story.
Lecturas had previously published photographs showing Janeiro alongside Pietro Costanzia. Pliego clarified that Esteban could not have provided the information to the magazine because he and Esteban were on bad terms and not communicating during that time.

Legal Action and Criminal Conviction
In her social media statement issued after days of silence, Janeiro forcefully rejected all claims regarding Costanzia. She stated that she has never maintained a romantic relationship with him and that such claims were manufactured to place her in a scenario with which she has no involvement.
Janeiro added that she has no intention of opening new conflict fronts, noting that she already faces sufficient pressure from her ongoing legal dispute with Esteban. She reiterated her intention to sue media outlets and commentators who continue to repeat what she termed a hoax.
Pietro Costanzia is the brother of Italian-Spanish television actor Carlo Costanzia. The headlines linking Janeiro to him caused particular distress due to his recent criminal conviction in Italy.
Costanzia is currently serving a sentence in a Turin prison for attempted murder. Italian authorities convicted him following a violent street assault in which a young man suffered severe injuries that resulted in the loss of his leg.
