Spanish influencer Julia Janeiro has publicly responded to television personality Belén Esteban in Madrid, warning that she remains silent about their family feud only out of respect for her sister.

Janeiro, the daughter of retired Spanish bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique and dentist María José Campanario, spoke out following recent media statements by Esteban encouraging the Janeiro family to tell their side of the story.
Addressing the conflict triggered by accusations over the term nepo baby, Janeiro explained that she had not taken Esteban's previous comments personally but was simply responding to what had been said to her. She stated that she stands by her previous remarks and has nothing to add or withdraw regarding the matter.
Esteban, a long-time Spanish media figure and former panelist on the popular celebrity talk show Sálvame, has a daughter with Jesulín de Ubrique, making Janeiro and Esteban's daughter half-sisters. Esteban is frequently referred to in Spanish media as the Princess of the People and la de Paracuellos after her home district in the Madrid region.
Father's Visit to Belén Esteban's Home Clarified
Janeiro also addressed reports concerning a visit to Esteban's home. Esteban had previously denied claims that Jesulín de Ubrique accompanied Janeiro to her house to visit her half-sister.
Janeiro clarified that she never claimed her father had gone with her to the house. She explained that she had met up with her father earlier but had driven to Esteban's residence alone to drop off her sister, emphasizing that her father has never entered Esteban's home.
Silence Motivated by Sisterly Respect and Privacy
Responding to Esteban's challenge for the family to speak out, Janeiro stated that if Esteban knows the story, there is nothing left to discuss. She noted that while Esteban can share details if she wishes, there are two versions of the story and only one has been heard publicly so far.

Janeiro explained that her silence is strictly intended to protect her sister, whom she loves deeply and respects as a private, anonymous individual. She added that she refuses to speak publicly about anonymous people, either positively or negatively, and noted that any past comments she made were solely about what she suffered growing up.
Janeiro also dismissed speculation that the distance between the sisters was caused by financial disputes. She revealed that she purchased her apartment using funds won from a court lawsuit over false stories published about her when she turned 18, adding that any parent would have taken the same legal action to protect their child.
Regarding her family's support, Janeiro confirmed she spoke by phone with her mother, María José Campanario, who is currently in Asia filming the television show Hasta el fin del mundo. Janeiro noted that her parents remain very proud of how she has handled the situation.
Belén Esteban Claims Authorization From Her Daughter
Later the same day in Madrid, Esteban made a fresh public appearance to address Janeiro's comments. Esteban asserted that she had spoken with her daughter and possesses full authorization from her to speak publicly on the family matter.
Esteban rejected claims that she had brought harm to her daughter, stating that she is well advised by her legal team and knows exactly who she is referring to when she speaks. She added that she knows who her true family is, claiming the Janeiro family does not.
Esteban concluded her remarks by stating she preferred not to comment further to avoid creating a game of broken telephone, leaving open whether the public dispute between the two families will continue.
